This year may be the best ever for crossbow hunting. Roughly ten states are considering easing their crossbow restrictions. Three of the ten are well along in the process, and the chances they will remove crossbow restrictions in their archery seasons are good. The remaining seven states - and perhaps others - appear interested in considering the crossbow issue early enough in the year to make regulatory changes in the 2009/2010 archery season if they so choose.
