Spin Custom knifeworks
At Spin Custom Knifeworks, I focus on making beautiful, comfortable knives. I carefully select all handle materials and painstakingly grain-match all wooden scales. Being a trained woodworker, my designs incorporate exotic woods often combined with other natural materials. My designs utilize the natural grain patterns, colors and combination of materials and the shape of the knife to create a work of art. Spin knives are unique and collectible, although they are designed to stand up to everyday use. They are made with the finest quality 440c steel, RC 56-57, sharpened and often mirror polished knife blanks. I carefully shape the handle until it feels perfect in the hand. Then I finish with a proprietary polishing technique that produces a handle with a silky smooth feel. You will not want to put these knives down! Each knife comes with a Certificate of Authenticity which describes the knife, what materials it is made out of and the maker’s mark. This mark is three inlays normally in the left bolster patterned after the three ‘dots’ which represent the letter “S” in international Morse code. I use a different and unique combination of wood varieties for the inlays in each knife, creating a unique identifier for that knife. We now offer a range of top quality sheaths due to popular demand! Rating
